  • Unruly shortlisted for 2 awards at the Real IT Awards

    We are excited to announce that we’ve been shortlisted for two awards at the Real IT Awards 2019! The first award we’ve been shortlisted for is Product Team of the Year. Over the past twelve months, the Product Team have supported Unruly’s goal to be the video marketplace advertisers and publishers can trust. They have been instrumental in helping Unruly build solutions that enable advertisers to deliver ads via the mechanism they want, in premium environments that achieve their goals, whilst helping publishers to grow their digital revenues while respecting their users and data.   • News Corp Australia’s Come Together 2019 invites clients to join the journey

    News Corp Australia will unveil new ways to connect brands with more Australians in the moments that matter at this year’s Come Together event, launching in Sydney on March 19. Come Together is News Corp’s highly anticipated annual showcase of its capabilities, products, services and innovative client solutions to industry. In 2019, Come Together will build on the momentum of last year’s successful format, with an imaginative and immersive experience, designed to inform, excite and inspire. Hosted by executive chairman Michael Miller and chief operating officer, publishing, Damian Eales, the six-day Come Together spectacle is expected to attract more than 1000 senior advertising, marketing and media executives in Sydney and Melbourne.   • Unruly at ad:tech Sydney

    This year’s ad:tech Sydney will happen on the 12th and 13th of March at The Hilton in Sydney, Australia. ad:tech Sydney is a two-day conference and exhibition that has been constantly evolving since arriving in Australia in 2007. It now ranks as Australia’s premier event for helping marketers market smarter in a digital world.   • Trust Talks: The Great Programmatic Debate comes to Singapore

    Following on from the success of the Trust Talks series, last year in London and New York, Unruly is kicking off 2019 with another event in Singapore, focusing on the biggest issues shaping data-driven digital advertising. Trust Talks: The Great Programmatic Debate will happen on February 28th at Tanjong Beach Club, Sentosa, Singapore. The event brings some of the industry’s leading experts together to explore the quest for a fit-for-purpose digital ID, attribution and how the industry is measuring success, the evolution of traditional linear to addressable channels, and the changing roles within the programmatic ecosystem 10 years on.   • Unruly helps launch IAB Transparency FAQs

    At Unruly we understand the importance of transparency in online advertising and are on a mission to bring this back to our industry. The IAB are on a similar mission and have just launched a new initiative in the UK on transparency. They have asked some of the industries leading companies twenty questions to shine a light on the digital supply chain and in turn, help buyers understand where they get the most value when buying online advertising. We’re excited to announce that Unruly is one of the first ten founding companies to complete the Transparency FAQs, and be truly open about how our business works and where we add value in the chain!   • Unruly helps to launch the new Chris Evans Breakfast Show on Virgin Radio

    Legendary UK broadcaster Chris Evans launches his new Breakfast Show this week at Virgin Radio UK, and Unruly is helping to promote the show by distributing a video campaign.  A series of videos, featuring Evans and his family, will be distributed across Unruly’s network of premium publishers. The ads will also be served through the Verified Marketplace – the multi-publisher alliance comprising News UK, the Telegraph and the Guardian News & Media. Virgin Radio is part of the Wireless Group, owned by News Corp UK. Thanks to an innovative 12-month sponsorship deal with Sky, the new breakfast show will run without ad breaks. The Chris Evans Breakfast Show is broadcast Monday-Friday, 06:30am-10:00am on DAB 11A and Sky 0215.

  • Unruly reaches the Gold Standard

    The UK branch of the IAB has confirmed that Unruly has qualified for Gold Standard Certification. Nearly 70 companies are fully certified for the IAB UK Gold Standard. By qualifying for certification they have committed to: 1. Reduce ad fraud through the implementation of, or by demonstrating support for, the IAB Tech Lab’s ads.txt initiative. Ads.txt allows domain owners to list who is authorised to sell their inventory, preventing the selling of spoofed or fake inventory. 2. Increase brand safety by becoming certified signatories to the JICWEBS Digital Trading Standards Group (DTSG) Brand Safety Principles (for current non-signatories) or by continuing to have their policies and processes independently verified (for current signatories). 3. Improve the digital advertising experience for consumers by adhering to the IAB Tech Lab’s LEAN Principles and the standards set by the Coalition for Better Ads. Full certification is a two stage process.

  • Unruly launches new tool to inform targeting based on cultural nuances within the US

    Advertisers can use Unruly’s emotional data to inform cut-downs and targeting that will resonate with consumers across 5 regions in the US.   Unruly today announced the launch of its UnrulyEQ Audiences by US Region. Expanding its global partnership with MediaCom, which uses The Hofstede Insights, the video marketplace can now provide advertisers with the ability to understand the cultural nuances of audiences within the United States. Access to MediaCom’s Cultural Connections research – which defines culture quantitatively for the first time – will allow Unruly to build on its existing insight to gain a better understanding of why video content resonates in some American regions and not in others.     We’re excited to announce that we’ve made it into Ad Age’s Best Places to Work in the US list again! Work life is changing, so Ad Age rebooted its annual Best Places to Work report to better capture what matters most in today’s workplace and to explore what makes a great place to work. Ad Age Best Places to Work 2019—produced in partnership with Latitude Research—identifies 50 workplaces that get the job done: 25 companies with 200 or fewer employees and 25 companies with more than 200 employees. Winners reflect the highest overall numerical scores based on an analysis of questionnaires submitted by employers and survey responses from thousands of their employees.
