Unruly Trust Talks: The Future Of Publishing

After an exciting and jam-packed first instalment, we’re excited to announce the second event in our Unruly Trust Talks series!

Unruly Trust Talks: The Future Of Publishing, brought to you in association with the AOP, takes place on Tuesday, May 16th and will look at the ever-changing world of online publishing.

With IoT and the connected home offering a unique opportunity for publishers to engage their audience through more personalised and relevant content, what is the best way to connect with readers in these uncharted waters?

Join us for a tantalising glimpse into the future of storytelling as we answer this question with a special tour of Unruly Home (a 2,000 sq ft space at the heart of our London HQ) and a lively panel discussion.

The event runs from 3:00pm – 5:30pm and will be kicked off with an exclusive look at the future of the connected home with Unruly’s Futurist Elena Corchero. With over a decade of experience in IoT R&D as a former MIT Media Lab Researcher on wearables, there is no one better suited to advise on changing consumers habits.

After the Unruly Home Tour, our panel of experts will discuss what role emerging technologies such as AI, AR and VR will play, and how publishers and brands can work together to best use the connected home to communicate with their audiences. You’ll hear from:

Moderator: Dilip Shukla, Strategist, AOP

Panellists:

  • Andrew Jones, Marketing Director, BSH Home Appliances Limited
  • Elena Corchero, Futurist, Unruly
  • James Titcomb, Technology Editor, The Telegraph
  • Jean Faulkner,  Marketing & Research Director, Condé Nast
