Moneysupermarket Brings Back Skeletor: 5 Ads You Should Watch Right Now

Every week Unruly scours every corner of the web for the funniest, saddest and weirdest ads around – then we put them in this handy list so you can catch up before the weekend.

This week’s selection includes some truly odd character moments, including the return of Moneysupermarket’s unlikely heroes.

The ad in question stars everyone’s favourite 80’s cartoon villain, Skeletor. We last saw Skeletor in this memorable spot from 2016, where he swanned down the street, impressing strangers and generally having a great time. This time around he’s joined by arch-nemesis He-Man for a slightly (read: very) unnerving Dirty Dancing parody/homage.

Elsewhere in the list is a spectacularly weird ad from Halo Top Creamery, a disruptive ice cream brand from Australia, which really needs to be seen to be believed. Directed by internet darling Mike Diva, who made waves with his satirical political ads during the 2016 US Presidential election, the ad is shot like an episode of Black Mirror – with a suitably disturbing ending.

We’ve also got a pair of short funny ads from Samsung and Bud Light, plus telecom giant AT&T leveraging the star-power of Taylor Swift.

Enjoy!
