Nike Does The Impossible & Bacardi Breaks Free: 5 Ads You Should Watch Right Now

Unruly every week brings you the latest and greatest bits of creative from across Adland, all compiled in this handy list so you can catch up before the weekend.

This week’s selection includes ads from Bacardi, Nike, Apple and Ikea – as well as a tearjerker of an ad from Norway.

Apple’s latest ad was used to kick off its World Wide Developer’s Conference and shows us a terrifying vision of life without apps. The ad, while not strictly customer-focused, does a good job of highlighting all the awesome things we take for granted, whilst also thanking and encouraging those that make them.

Rounding out the list is an interesting spot from IKEA, which celebrates the durability of their iconic bags and their many, many uses.

Without further ado, enjoy!

5. Bacardi – Break Free

This latest ad from Bacardi is full of colour and energy, with a soundtrack to match. The spot walks us through a town where everyone’s movements are stuck in a loop, using some clever Instagram-like visuals, until the power of rum sets them free.

4. Nike – Impossible Stairs

Although less dramatic than Nike’s usual offering, this ad succeeds in showing off the brand’s full range of Airmax trainers while also packing a unique visual punch.

3. Norwegian Directorate for Children, Youth and Family Affairs – Lunchbox

This heartwarming ad from the NDCYA is simple but sweet and reminds us that no child should go without.
