Interactive Muscles And Cantona Hustles: 5 Ads You Should Watch Right Now
Who would have thought that babies poo faces would front a campaign for a global brand. That’s right, only in AdLand!
After a week watching the best (and worst) video ads on the web, we’ve picked the five essential ones to watch so you can spend the rest of your time enjoying the weekend.
So without further ado, here is our weekly round-up of the five ads you should watch right now.
Enjoy!
5. Braun – Ready for the Next Level
Braun taps into the vintage video game-loving audience with its latest ad to promote the next level in men’s shaving.
The ad brings warm waves of nostalgia to those who enjoyed a solid two (or seven) hour session of Super Mario Bros back in the day.
Question is, are you ready for the next level of male grooming?
4. Old Spice – Muscle Surprise
Ever wanted to play a video game with Terry Crews’ pecs? Me either, but advertising oddballs Old Spice have made it possible.
The manliest man deodorant has created an interactive ad where the viewer can take an anatomical adventure on Mr Muscles.
So long, Friday afternoon!
3. Nike Football – The Neymar Jr. Effect
Nike has taken things to all new levels. Advertising and virtual reality in harmony at last.
In its latest ad, the sports apparel brand puts viewers in the shoes of Brazillian football superstar Neymar Jr as he scores a goal for his national team. To get the full VR experience, watch this ad in the YouTube app on your smartphone, move it around, and revel in the cheers of all your virtual fans.
Disclaimer: Nike’s Hypervenom football boots will not make you play like Neymar Jr.
2. Kronenbourg 1664 – #LeBigSwim
Ooh la la, Cantona has a trés important announcement to make. Football may be coming home.
That is, if 10,000 Brits vote Kronenbourg 1664 the most supreme tasting beer in the world. In this latest stunt the great Frenchman has agreed to swim the English Channel.
10,000 isn’t the biggest target in the world. So expect to see Mr Cantona don his swimming trunks soon enough.
1. Pampers – #PampersPooface
What’s funnier than watching babies eat lemons for the first time? I’ll tell you what, their scrunched up little kissers when popping out a poop or freeing some flatulence.
Pampers’ latest ad captures a compilation of babies releasing some air biscuits and bum brownies and it is absolutely epic.
Go forth and conquer, young poop ninjas.
