After a week watching the best (and worst) video advertisements on the net, we’ve picked the five essential ones to watch so you can enjoy your weekend.

In this week’s round-up, we have a giant crumpet, a wild boar drinking out of a toilet and a boy – yes, a BOY! – in a commercial for Barbie.

5. Warburton’s: “Muppets – The Giant Crumpet Show”

A Christmas ad featuring a giant crumpet and The Muppets – what’s not to love? Throw in a catchy tune, and you have a bona-fide Christmas cracker from Warburton’s.

4. Moschino: “Moschino Barbie”

Mattel has been attracting a lot of praise for breaking down gender norms by featuring a boy – yes, a boy – in its latest Barbie ad for Moschino Barbie. Only problem is the ad – created by Moschino’s creative director Jeremy Scott – has nothing to do with the toy company. In fact, Scott has even said that it’s not a real ad, instead calling it a ‘fauxmercial’. He said: “The video celebrates how boys and girls alike play with Barbie—it’s all about self-expression, fashion, imagination and storytelling.”

3. Various: “The 80s”

OK, admittedly, this is a bit of cheat. Instead of a new ad, this video is just a montage of famous commercials from the 80s. It’s cheesy, garish and naff – everything we love about the decade of decadence. In fact, it’s so good, it may even inspire you to grow a mullet. So get your deely boppers on and enjoy!

What’s the biggest problem with buying a cute baby animal? Just ask this French family, who soon see their bundle of festive joy turn into a real boar in this Christmas ad from cable TV company Canal+.
