Unruly Picks Up Innovator Of The Year At Women In IT Awards
Unruly was named Innovator Of The Year at the Women in IT Awards yesterday. Co-founder and COO Sarah Wood joined leading entrepreneurs and business leaders in the Technology and IT industries at the award ceremony last night to collect the accolade.
The awards, held at London Grosvenor House, celebrated the achievements of companies led by female executives in the male-dominated technology industry.
Other finalists in the category were Verne Global, BlackLine, Big Data Partnership, Aspera, MOVE Guides, EG Solutions and Twizoo.
“We are honoured to be chosen as winners alongside some fantastic companies.
“At Unruly we use a lot of agile principles across the business, not just in Dev. It really helps us stay ahead of the game in a fast-paced market and helps deliver wow for our clients.
“We constantly keep brands and agencies ahead of the curve, delivering industry-first products like UnrulyX, the first supply side platform (SSP) for mobile video to offer scaled delivery of native ad formats and guarantee the viewability of premium video impressions bought via RTB.
“This award is particularly close to my heart as despite being a tech company – traditionally a male-dominated work environment – we have a lot of women working with us. 48% of Unruly employees are women and we place a lot of importance on training and education to give all Unrulies the skills and confidence needed to progress.”
Huge congratulations to everyone involved! All the winners can be seen here.
