Flip-Phones & Dream Homes: 5 Ads You Should Watch Right Now

We love ads at Unruly. In fact, we love them so much that every week we put together this handy list of the 5 bits of creative you might have missed over the past 7 days.

This week’s fine selection of hand-picked ads sees a number of brands and agencies tackle social issues, from LGBT rights to femvertising. Alongside the more conscious spots however, we’ve also got some comedy from Elizabeth Banks and the Humboldt Redwood Company, as well as a Motorola throwback that’s guaranteed to hit millennials right in the ‘feels’.

So sit down, plug in, and enjoy!

5. Bodyform – Blood

Anyone who hates the sight of blood should look away now.  From broken noses to mangled feet, Bodyform’s latest ad – created by AMV BBDO and part of its ‘Red.Fit’ push – certainly pulls no punches as it shows women suffering for their various sports, ending with the tagline ‘No blood should hold us back’.

4. Realtor.com – Dream Bathroom

Realtor’s latest ad campaign takes buying a dream home to the next level with a little help from Elizabeth Banks and clouds which rain puppies.

3. Humboldt Redwood Company – Just A Deck

Think trying to sell wood decking is tough? Guess again, sure the acting is a little wooden, but just add in a talking plank and a cute dog and you are all set.

2. Budweiser – The Bud Light Party: Weddings

Seth Rogen and Amy Schumer kick off Pride Month with a campaign ad from the Bud Light Party backing same-sex marriage.

1. Motorola – Moto 06.09.16

Motorola treats viewers to a phone flashback ahead of its highly-anticipated launch event next week in an ad which looks like an episode of Saved By The Bell. Could what they announce be related to the RAZR? We don’t have long to find out.
