Sarah Wood makes the 2018 Tech 500 Power List
The tech PR agency Tyto recently announced their Tech 500 Power List 2018, revealing the most influential individuals in the UK tech sector. The list aims to highlight the fact that small company leaders and independent tech evangelists are outranking representatives of large tech firms when it comes to being heard. Tyto compiled the list by collaborating with a communications research firm to develop a methodology that identifies and tracks tech influencers across twenty sub-sectors and nine influencer groups in the UK. Unruly’s co-founder Sarah Wood made the list alongside influencers from TechCrunch, Blogger, Twitter, The BBC and Facebook. Head here to see the full list.
Unruly shortlisted for 3 GroupM awards
We’re excited to announce that we have been shortlisted in three categories at the upcoming GroupM awards. The awards we are up for are: Best Media Sales Person Most Innovative Media Best Engagement Media The awards are set to take place in Singapore during GroupM’s year end party on the evening of the 14th of December. Last week our Singapore team had a great time at the GroupM Malaysia Supply Summit, where our MD of Asia, Vijay Anand Kunduri, spoke about the value of context, and how premium media drives engagement and action. Elena Corchero is a TechWomen100 winner!
We are excited to announce that Elena Corchero has made it into the TechWomen100 list . The Techwomen100 awards aim to showcase remarkable women within the technology sector covering a wide range of roles. Each year they publish a list of the top 100 women working in tech in the UK. Not only did Elena make it into the TechWomen100 list, but we also had three other Unrulies who were shortlisted; Gel Goldsby, Jade Vincent and Mariya Petkova. We’d like to say a huge congratulations to all the women who were shortlisted, and to Elena who made the list alongside innovative women from companies including Deloitte, Barclays, BP, IBM, Paypal and TFL. Paul Gubbins wins Ad Tech Personality of the Year!
Last night Paul Gubbins was named Ad Tech Personality of the Year at The Wires. The Wires is an annual prestigious awards ceremony hosted by ExchangeWire in London, celebrating the ad tech industry . Last month Unruly’s Programmatic Lead Paul Gubbins was shortlisted for the award along with some of the industries leading personalities including Taboola founder and CEO Adam Singolda, Co-founder and CTO of Adform Jakob Bak and CEO of AppNexus Brian O’Kelley. Paul collected the award last night on stage from Kate Adie CBE to a standing ovation. Sarah Wood makes the LinkedIn Top Voices 2018 list
Sarah Wood has been ranked alongside some of the UK’s biggest influencers in this year’s LinkedIn Top Voices list. The list is made up of the 10 must-know Influencers driving the business conversation in the UK and beyond, and includes author and speaker Bernard Marr, Hays CEO Alistair Cox and Mayor of London Sadiq Khan. To find all of the standout voices, LinkedIn used a combination of data and editorial signals.
