  • Unruly Receives New TAG Certification On Trust and Transparency

    Unruly is one of only six companies worldwide to achieve independent certification status for both TAG’s Anti-Fraud and Inventory Quality guidelines. The video ad tech company has once again passed its independent certification for both programmes, which offer a common framework for companies to describe and disclose the characteristics of their ad inventory. Unruly’s sister companies Tremor and Rhythm One also achieved self-certification for both TAG programmes. TAG (the Trustworthy Accountability Group) is an industry initiative created by the 4As, the Association of National Advertisers and the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) to fight criminal activity in the digital advertising supply chain.     We’re excited to reveal that Unruly’s data scientist Alberto Boschetti will be speaking at the London Data Science Festival on April 25. The Data Science Festival is a week of free to attend Data Talks across London from leading companies including Facebook, The BBC, Revolut, Publicis and Royal Mail.     Deal Benefits Tremor International, News Corp; Allows for Global Scale LONDON/NEW YORK— January 6, 2020 — Tremor International Ltd (AIM: TRMR), a global leader in video advertising technologies, announces that it has reached an agreement with News Corp (“News Corp” (Nasdaq: NWS, NWSA; ASX: NWS, NWSLV)), a global diversified media and information services company, to acquire Unruly, News Corp’s programmatic video marketplace. The transaction is expected to be financially beneficial for both Tremor International and News Corp.  News Corp is receiving 6.91% of Tremor International stock, subject to an 18-month lock up period and to certain adjustments, along with a total minimum revenue guarantee for News Corp of GBP 30m for the partnership.
