Unruly’s Sarah Wood Wins CEO Of The Year At TechCrunch’s Europas Awards Night
Unruly was celebrating last night after co-founder Sarah Wood won CEO of the Year at TechCrunch’s Europas awards.
Sarah was awarded the trophy at a packed Old Billingsgate Market yesterday.
It’s the latest honour in an award-winning month for Unruly, which has also seen Sarah crowned Veuve Clicquot’s Businesswoman of the Year and the ad tech company pick up an award at The Drum’s Online Media Awards alongside the Scottish Sun for their collaboration on the “Eat Better Feel Better” campaign. Sarah and Co-CEO Scott Button were also handed OBEs in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List last weekend.
A massive congratulations also goes out to all the other entrepreneurs at the event, including Bethany Koby, CEO and co-Founder of Technology Will Save Us which won Best Hardware Startup, and Alice Bentinck, founder of Code First Girls and Entrepreneur First, which won the award for Best Startup Accelerator. Adludio also scooped up Best Adtech Startup and Blazetech were called out for Coolest Tech.
Founded in 2009 and run today by TechCrunch’s Editor-in-Chief Mike Butcher, The Europas are the premier awards for Europe’s best in class tech start-ups.
The award ceremony was part of a wider event featuring speakers such as Ken Segall, former Creative Director at Apple, Dave McClure, 500 Startups Founder and Julia Hartz, CEO of Eventbrite.
