Unruly has been shortlisted for two CIM Marketing Excellence Awards.

News UK and Unruly are finalists in the ‘Best Partnership Marketing Campaign’ category for our collaborative marketing efforts at last year’s Cannes Lions. Unruly and Alpha Grid have also been shortlisted in the ‘Best Use of Data and Insight’ category for our joint research on the online video habits of business leaders.

Cannes Lions may be over, but before we put the cork back in the bottle of rosé for another year, we thought we would share some insights from a presentation we watched last week from P&G.

The consumer goods giant pulled out its marketing heavyweight, Global Marketing and Brand Building Officer Marc Pritchard, to entertain the crowd with a session on “Raising The Creative Bar” last Thursday that was smoother than a baby’s bum (presumably after using Pampers).

Filled with branded videos, some hands-up honesty, and a couple of world exclusives – the talk certainly didn’t disappoint the jam-packed auditorium.

It’s 100 days till Cannes Lions 2016, and at Unruly we cannot be more excited. So to celebrate the milestone, we’ve put together a list of our favourite quotes from recent years at the festival. And if that wasn’t enough we even created our very own countdown page.

You have to hand it to Geico. Back in 2013,  the U.S. insurance company and its ad firm, The Martin Agency, managed to turn Wednesdays into a weekly celebration with its ‘Hump Day‘ campaign.

Now Geico has managed to turn a ‘pre-roll’ ad into a Cannes Lions winner. Yes, seriously!
