Account Manager – Ad Ops

WANTED: An enthusiastic Account Manager who loves to go the extra mile to lead on the day-to-day running of our Operations Account Management team. 

You’ll be responsible for providing Account Management services across a subsection of campaigns in the UK, working alongside the Commercial and Media teams to deliver the most awesome video campaigns on the planet. In this role you’ll ensure the infrastructure for delivering client service is adhered to and developed – including proposal building, media and inventory planning, reporting quality and delivery, campaign optimisation and client communication.You’ll develop an advanced understanding of all Unruly product lines and inventory opportunities to ensure you’re able to provide expert consultancy and feedback to the UK Sales team. 

As Account Manager, you will lead our Operations and Sales team, planning, executing and optimising online video campaigns, while providing intelligent, performance-focused recommendations and insights to feed into best in class RFP responses. You will own a subset of key campaign accounts, devising campaign strategies to meet and exceed client KPIs. You will also be involved in the creation of collateral for internal and external use, and providing the Sales team with data, campaign recommendations and insights to assist with continued account growth.

Working Hours: Full time Monday – Friday 9.30am-6pm

Mission for the Role

Your mission will be to:

  • Own your accounts and lead the planning, execution and optimizing of your online video campaigns, along with the Operation and Sales teams.  Provide best in class client servicing, while catering for intelligent, performance-focused recommendations and insights to grow your accounts
  • The role outcomes will be:

  • Comprehensive campaign reporting, and delivering key insights and recommendations on campaign performance to internal and external clients

  • Be the expert in Unruly’s product proposition, assisting the sales team with campaign briefs over campaign targeting, inventory, formats and pricing

Essential Experience

You must have:

  • 1.5+ years in Associate Account Manager or similar role
  • Demonstrated interest in online media, advertising and creative industry, technology and digital marketing
  • Experience in a media or analysis, or have studied brands, media planning or consumer psychology
  • Experience of presenting findings, research or proposals for review

Your Skills

You must have:

  • Fluent in English – with strong spelling and grammar
  • Able to collect, synthesize and report data
  • Detail oriented and capable of assisting with developing business models/proposing recommendations
  • Excellent at organisation and able to take the initiative on projects and deliver to tight deadlines
  • Able to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external clients face to face, over the phone and via email
  • At least a beginner to Intermediate level user of Excel, PowerPoint and Google Apps

About You: Education & Qualifications

  • Honours-level degree or equivalent preferred (University of Life also counts)
