Unruly Named Among Fastest-Growing Tech Companies In Europe For The Second Time

Unruly has been named among the top 50 fastest growing digital companies in Europe for the second time.

CTO and co-founder Matt Cooke joined leading entrepreneurs and business leaders from across the European digital scene for the invitation-only event at the GP Bullhound Summit:PARIS last week.

The awards, held at the Palais de Tokyo on Thursday, May 15 and hosted by tech investment bank GP Bullhound, have become the top league table for Europe’s fastest-growing digital companies.

The 11th annual summit incorporates the Media Momentum Awards, which recognise the leading companies in the digital economy.

Scott Button, CEO and founder at Unruly said, “We’re chuffed to be listed alongside some of the most awesome, innovative companies in Europe. Unruly is positioned at the intersection of mobile, video and programmatic, the three fastest growing ad trends worldwide.

“MadTech is hot property and the potential for video advertising is huge. In fact, digital video ad spend is set to reach $22.5 billion by 2017, up from $8.3 billion in 2013 (Source: Magna Global). Our global footprint and programmatic video platform helps leading advertisers to reach and engage the half of the global Internet population who are watching and sharing videos outside of YouTube, across the Open Web.”

The daytime event saw talks from JB Rudelle, founder of Criteo, Bernard Liautaud, founder of Business Objects, Tom Bedecarre, chairman of AKQA, and head of Twitter Europe, Ali Jafari.

There were also debates around critical developments in the digital economy,  key trends, plus some gazing into the future, looking at robotics, Artificial Intelligence and the Internet of Things.

“The Summit and Media Momentum Awards are a celebration of Europe’s growing technology sector. The Summit is designed to inspire, with some of the most brilliant minds in Europe coming together to debate and discuss the issues of the sector,” said Manish Madhvani, Managing Partner at GP Bullhound and Media Momentum judge.
